Simply connect the camera directly to any standard PC through its USB 3.0 input and you are quickly connected with popular Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) and multimedia streaming devices. It is ideal for visual communications and remote monitoring applications.
The SRG-120DU also offers UVC camera control. Many popular end-user software programs take advantage of UVC control to offer far end control as well as local camera control. By using the SRG-120DU PTZ camera with a single USB3.0 cable connected to a PC or laptop, the camera's pan, tilt, zoom, focus and other camera functions can be controlled by participants on both ends of a web-based video conference. This enables easy and simply integration for a better end-user experience. With a high-sensitivity 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS sensor as well as the advanced View-DR technology, the camera provides extremely wide dynamic range with Sony's full capture Wide-D technology to compensate for backlight or changing lighting conditions.
